John burden college has a strong emphasis on developing and transmitting culture within the organization and to our students.
Here are descriptors of the culture that will pervade JBC.
STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
Success is dependent on superb team work, not a single superstar. Everyone on the team is of equal value, only their roles are different. The JBC president and the JBC housekeeper have different but important roles.
When JBC graduates join a clinical team, they will view every member of the clinical team and the clinic as of equal value.
No one person is the superstar. We depend on every member of the team to succeed.
No celebrities
We work not to make a name for ourselves but to make a name for our team, institution, church and our lord.
We will not show favoritism no matter the degrees or accomplishments of the individual
learning through failure
John Burden College promotes innovation and exploration. Fear of failure does not prevent us from attempting something new. A failure is an opportunity to learn and refine, not quit.
Sacrifice
John Burden College promotes the need to sacrifice in order to accomplish great things. We believe sacrifice is necessary and is the calling of the Christian.

Innovation
No matter how talented an individual, something can always improve. JBC seeks to keep getting better at what we do.
Principles not for sale
We are fearlessly loyal to our principles. Riches, fame and popularity will not buy our integrity, honor and commitment to our principles.
We do not compromise.
Excellence
Everything we do is excellent. Those we serve deserve the best service. We best represent Jesus when our work is done well.
We reject mediocrity.
Unashamedly adventist
JBC is a spiritual organization that supports the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist church. We will not hide our Adventist identity.
