Clinical Massage Internship

During this internship, students will get the unique opportunity to learn, practice and utilize various massage techniques in a clinical setting as a missionary intern. The internship is supervised by Adventist Registered Massage Therapists.

Program Components

The internship has 3 components:

  1. Foundations of clinical massage: Online self-paced learning of basic massage techniques and principles.

  2. Practicum (4-days in-person, approx 20 hrs): On-site learning of massage techniques such as: wellness massage, swedish techniques, hot stone massage, aroma touch, etc.

  3. Clinicals (8-days in-person, approx 40 hrs): Application of massage techniques in a supervised clinical setting.
